Directed Electronics Bitwriter Repair??

Anybody know where I can send my Bitwriter to get it repaired? I've had it for years and years and upgraded the chip to version 2.3 a few years ago and everything worked fine. However I recently upgraded it to chip version 2.7 to make it work with the new line of DEI products and now all I get is a scrambled LCD screen. I'm a MECP advanced level installer so I'm no stranger to electronics and I made sure I was grounded and the battery was disconnected before removing and inserting the new chip. What gives?

Not yet...I was hoping there was some kind of hard reset or some other fix that I didn't know about before I did that
