Directed Audio Vs Orion

I know they're made by the same company. Can I expect the same quality between the brands? Don't hear to much on the forum about Directed amps besided there sub amps.

Looking more into the

Orion HP-4800 vs Directed A1004

and

Orion HCCA-D2400 vs Directed D2400

What other brands do you guys recommend in this quality and price range?

and do the new Orion amps match up with the old ones?
