Directed audio or Clarion

The Directed Audio is the 600/4. Its refurbished on Ike but has a price tag of only 78 bucks.

The Clarion is thier AP4320 series 640w 4 channel around 200.00.

Both are very close specs.

Which is the best option?

I appreciate the feed back guys. I was leaning towards the Directed audio. Whats 40w more power anyways?

Now I need to find the right components and coaxials for the directed 600/4.

I hope this isnt a stupid question but what would I need a 5 channel amp for? is that the pre amp for a sub?

I like the 600w directed amp but now I see a 650 5 channel one for 150.00

There is no shipping info on ike sound from ebay. Beofr I purchase I would like to know how much it is. Anyone purchase from Ikesound?

I plan on getting a subwoofer. is 5 channel a good idea if you get a really high watt one. I am not going to go overboard but I would like a modest subwoofer in the back. Not overkill but good enough.

As stated above most 5 channel amps dont give much to your sub, if you get a decent sub it isnt a bad idea to buy a 5 channel.

Will I have to get a different alternator if I am running a 600w amp and then get a subwoofer amp? I am not going to get anything to loud but just enough. I wont be competing or anything.lol

136 amp is what it has. I have a V8.

Not sure what kind of sub. I am putting all of this together now. I dont know much about car stereos but I bought a Kenwood Exceleon x889.

I think a 10" is maybe good to start with. I dont need it to be incredibly thumping, just good enough.

When you say highs, do you mean the components? I need to get components and coaxials.

I have an infinity gold system but I want it out.

Are subwoofers expensive? I was hoping not to pay more than 200.00
