Want to put some assassins in my tahoe. Have the 1500d already, most already know what it does. Want to go with some assassins subs and get rid of kicker comp vrs. Should I go with 2 or 3 and 12's or 10's? I really would like to go 3 to fill up the back area a little more. With 3 4 ohm SVC subs I could go at a little more than 1 ohm, in which I figure I should be getting about 950-1000W. I figure it would probably be better to run the 12's a little below max rms to make them last longer. What do you guys think?

My 8s are taking a little under 400 EASILY.....overpower FTW
400 each in a daily driver??

and for the others, I don't know for sure what they take. They're website says recommended power and RMS as different numbers. which is legit. I figure I get 3 4 ohm SVC subs and wire them down to a 1.33 ohm load. Then I should be getting between 950 and 1000 watts out of my amp. This should push them easily, especially the tens. http://www.ascendantaudio.com/assassin_page.html that is the site

Crazy huh? I was suprised....I was going to set the gains to around 1200 for the four, but I decided to just run the amp at full tilt. 1500 watts = 375 per but thats the amps rating at 12 volts so it might be a little more...
Those assassins are severely underrated....im pretty confident that the 12s can take over 500 daily...in the right box of course.
