Directed 1100d, anyone use?

Has anyone ever used a directed 1100d? do they bench anywhere near there there max power? Do they heat up when pushed to 1 ohm? Do you guys think its enough power for 3 DD 1508's? i have one lined up right now, and was wondering what everyone thought. thanks

used a Viper 1200 pretty much the same amp ran a little hot but put out around 12-1400 RMS

One of Directed's corporate product managers used to frequent a few forums (I think he still checks in at a couple) and said those were accurately rated amps, and excellent quality as a whole.

FWIW - I put a 600D in for my nephew to run an older pair of 12w3D4's. It's pretty impressive for 600w -- pre-fab sealed.
