Not much. maybe a few tenths of a dB at peak output.

If you can hear the difference between a 30hz tune and a 32hz tune....... you have the best ears ever.

Depends on the sub and the size of the box. The difference can be pretty pronounced in some cases and almost imperceptible in others.

Yeah I think it could go both ways,no difference to the ear or depending sub/box size/vehicle.
