difference in focals

165A1 - Focal Access 6.5 2 Way Component Speakers

165-V1 - Focal 165V1 Polyglass 6.5 2 Way Component Speakers

has anyone ever heard of them and what is the difference??

Today was the first time I went to a shop to hear some Focals. All together, I've heard 4 different pairs. To tell you the truth, my ears couldn't really tell that much of a difference between the 4. I heard the K2P, KP, and two other pairs with black cones that he didn't tell me the name of. I just remembered that the KP sounded really nice and warm.

yea i knew that, i was wondering the difference when it comes to sound quality and are there any others that someone could recommend around 200 or less for better than the ones i mentioned?

There is probably a small difference in sound. As I said, I couldn't tell though. Maybe my ears aren't trained enough.

Why not just get the Polyglass instead of the Access for the same price?

I have the 165V1's. If you seal up your door with deadener they will produce a TON of midbass. My door handles (outside of the car) rattle and I need to deal with that soon.

Whenever I've auditioned focals they've sounded way too different for me to like any of them.

Just not my cup of tea.
