not sure about mounting depth. go on RE's site and check. but the SeXXX is much louder than the SE but does not sound as good. its basically an SE but with XXX parts used on it. its for the people who want alot of SPL for cheap, but im sure it will still sound very good, bettter than any rockford or kicker sub.

Actually, believe it or not, i think my seXXX sounds better than my SE did.
As for changes in the sub, the mounting depth is not affected. The parts that are swapped are the coil and the spider, everything else is the same.
The only problem is that i believe they are not making them anymore(or won't be very soon). The new '04 SE's have a new motor that can't be converted to a seXXX.

How did it take to recieve your subs once you ordered them?

The SE took about 2 weeks, it would have been sooner but there was some shipping issues. Nothing bad, and my sub arrived in perfect condtion.
I got the seXXX really quick because they built it the day after i called and had it shipped out the next day.

I talked to RE today and they said they no longer make the SEXXX. They said the SX replaced the SEXXX. The SE and SX are both on backorder and wont be in for like four weeks, so I guess I will have to wait.
Yea same here, called RE today to inquire about the 10" SE's they are 149$ each not including shipping. But there on backorder for 3-4 weeks.
