Goodmorning..I'm Italian,(sorry for my bad english //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif ) I have some questions about the difference between the Pioneer deh-p8600MP and deh-p860mp Premier(the premier series does'nt exist in italy),and if i can use this 2 model,in Italy, without problems (12Vcc alimentation for italian cars, install dimension,FM radio compatibility, and Digital radio compatibility (DAB=digital audio broadcasting).

Thanks for your answers!!

Denis Calamia...

the premier 860 is better than the pioneer 8600. the premier has 6.5v preouts, promode, and a longer warranty. thats it i believe, and both are about the same price.

really? i have a 860mp and ive seen an 8600 at my local store, i didn't notice any color difference

Some words?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

Grazie...Ops..Thanks.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

do they make a 8600 that is compatible in italy? if they do, and they don't make the premier line, then you best bet for an 860's performance would be the 9600, same performance, just different look

so, if they don't make premier for europe/italy, go for the 9600 if you want the 860's performance, if you want it's looks go w/ the 8600

are you sure the 9600 has the same performance as the 860? according to pioneers site, the 9600 still has 4v preouts, no promode, and a 1 year warranty (same as 8600). IIRC 860 and 960 have the same performance, and same goes for the 8600 and 9600.

does it? crap, i thought they were the same, i thought 9600=960, i knew 960 and 860 were the same, well, if there isn't a european capable premier, oh well, go 8600 imo then

Hooo..Hooo... Horse !!

Thanks for your anwers, but i want buy the 860 Premier,on e-Bay,but my perplexity are in some incompatibiliy with italian FM Frequency (The FM Frequency in italy start by 87,50 Mhz to arrive at108.00 Mhz,is like your pioneer range frequency?),R.D.S. (radio data system)system compatibility, the Vdc power alimentation (is 12v/13,5V dc?)the Italian menu linguage is present in your premier 860 ?,and other things, but don't think now...

In Premier i like the 6v in pre out,is great, because my amplifers, works at low gain, and out of sound distorsion. The 9600 or 960,are much expensive for my pocket now....

Good Punch at everyone !!

Heartily.....Denis Calamia.

i dunno about pioneers for sure but my old factory HU (Toyota) has a range of 87.75 to 107.9 MHz according to the label. My guess is that both countries have the same range

DrtySthV6SE, i see what youre saying, but its the way it tunes into the stations thats the issue..Depends on the mhz stages. In the UK we go up in .5mhz stages which im sure is different in the US?

Thanks at everyone... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

In my state (Italy and Europe),the RDS (radio data system) write in the head unit display, station name and various info, meteo info, publicity and other...In U.S.A. this info system,it's called Supertuner IIID??Or i'm wrong??

(My english... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif ...Sorry..)
