Is there a difference in quality level between a brutus amp and a titan amp? I'm debating wether i should buy a Hifonics TX1505D for 177$ or pay an extra 22$ and buy a Hifonics BX1605D. Are there really any quality differences in these amps?

I have the BXi1606 Brutus amp and have no signs of quality issues. The only thing I dont like about it is that it has a slight (but present) turn-off and sometimes turn-on noise thump. the turn-off I got used to and I like to know the amp turned off.

As for the Titan I think the diference is minimal at best, but I think the Brutus' look better.....personal preference?

If it were me I'd go with the Brutus just because its only ~20 bucks difference.

Just me I guess...... Hope it helped.

take a look for yourself...see which one you think is better.

isnt it the other way around?arent the brutus' amp casing black and the titan's casing silver?

i have a titan and mine's got a silver casing...
The new titans(txi) are silver and the Brutus(bxi) black. The older ones were opposite.

Actually, those are pictures of the Old Brutus and old Titan D-Class mono amps.

The black one is the old Titan and the silver one is the old Brutus.

Todays (06) products are differant.

The Titan mono amps are silver and are High Current A/B class.

The Brutus are black and are D-Class mono amps.

The new Titans are better sound quality because they are A/B Class but the Brutus draw less current because they are D-Class.

But since im talking about two older model amps, this would not apply right? Because they are both class d? I guess there is not really any difference at all other then the outside apearance and 100w. I might just go with whatever one is smallest.

You are correct.

Both would be a good deal.
