difference between chop mat and cloth?

could anyone tell me the difference between fiberglass chop mat, and fiberclass cloth?

In my experience, mat is stronger while cloth is easier to work with especially when it comes to curves and such. That's just a generalization though.

i would agree with jazn, i only use matt, cause i believe its a lot stronger.

matt is not necaserily(sp) stronger because there is 32oz cloth available and that will out do any chop mat in strength any day of the week, chop mat is IMO much easier to use which is why it is solely the main glass to use in automoitive customization

chop mat is random fibers in every which direction

where fiberglass cloth is woven fiberglass fibers in 90 degrees
