i bet if you sealed it good it would crack the bucket i once seen this at a circuit city they had one sub in a metal trash can and had it hooked up and as you would know it sounded like someone was beating the trashcan then they had they same sub in another trashcan same kind lined and coved in some kind of sound deadener it actually sounded decent i forget what kind of deadener

The 5 gallon pail is priceless but still better than the styrofoam ice chests I've seen used - Yikes! He should of at least used those thick carboard cement form tubes they use or the cores from the big paper rolls used at paper mills.

MDF is pretty cheap too though!

good stuff. sounds like shit I would have done when i first go int o car audio. I used a cord from a lamp to wire my buddies amp . my thinking... it can handle 120v it can handle 12. ahhh the good times

Those cardboard cement forms work pretty decent actually.
