my car doesnt come in manual

Neither does mine...

I learned to drive on a manual, and I really miss it...oh well, will have it on the next truck I get.

ya, i learned on one too, even drove one for a few months after my old suburban died

Maybe you're right. I think its a 6-speed though...not 100%

the T-56 is a 6 speed, used in the Corvette, Cobra R, Viper, F-Body, Aston Martin Vantage and Vanquish and most likely a few other cars. very nice ******, but expensive if you're buying a new one outright for a retro-fit

also, the T-56 is made by Tremec, but Borg-Warner made a few also, not sure the whole story on that

borg warner designed and manufactured the t56 as well as many other trannys (t5 in the fox bodys and then switched to the t45 with 94up i believe). Tremec bought out bw about 5 or so years ago. Now tremec sells it under thier own name.

my girlfriends audi has the shift buttons on the steering wheel, and u can use the shifter in man. mode, but its nothing like the real thing, and sometimes, i mess it all up cause i get confused and try to put it into a certain gear... blah, there gay

why does everybody have to hate on automatics for. my first car was a manual but now i have an auto. i got no problems with it cus when your as lazy as me you want to do as little work as possible. and has anyone ever driven a manual truck? i dont know about the newer ones but the older ones are the worst thing in the world too drive.
