If I buy something in a store and they use a credit card. I as the buyer would only pay $100 the store would only get $97.

This is the way that the world works, **** it up and deal with it.

Boycott Pay Pal if you want, just use money orders or whatever. But, if you want to use PP then use their rules... Or don't whatever...

Im not *****ing, im just stating that I, as the buyer, do not have to pay for PP, only if i SELL something, or have somone send ME money do i have to pay.

I never really understood where they charge the 3%...is it when you take money out of your paypal that they charge?

they charge when you trake money from somebody's credit card. You are not charged if the person has a checking account on file that they use. It's BS because I have to pay for something someone else doesn't have setup. It's not MY fault they are using a credit card. THEY should be charged that fee, not the reciptiant of the money.

At Lowe's if you use the Lowe's card, there is no fee per the arrangement they have with GE Capital. That is why stores push their card...not so much the whopping 21% interest, but the reduction of fees to the store.
