To charge a paypal fee on top of a transaction.

4.7 No Surcharges. You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.

If you are really that worried about the freaking 2%, just build it into the price.

This is a weak *** rant, but it made me happy.

they charge when you trake money from somebody's credit card. You are not charged if the person has a checking account on file that they use. It's BS because I have to pay for something someone else doesn't have setup. It's not MY fault they are using a credit card. THEY should be charged that fee, not the reciptiant of the money.

its anytime people send you money. That transfer is charged a 3% fee.

IMO opinion it screws a seller over when they say for ex. 310 + PP fees + shipping because my first counter is going to be about 300 bucks shipped on that, so to me it would be better for the seller to just say 330 shipped or something, because i will probably counter with 315 or 320 instead. My .02

Credit card companies charge a processing fee, which can range from 2.5% to 10%. The reason pay pal says you can't charge this fee is a B&M can't charge these fees, it is illegal. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif You can however give a "cash" discount, but you can't charge more if someone uses a CC.

It is a part of the Credit Card company and federal rules. So **** it up and stop *****ing it isn't pay pals fault...

A local pizza chain charged me 1.50 for a delivery last night, and they snuck it under my nose.

I looked on the receipt. 1.50. I was pissed. 18 bucks for a 10 slice pizza, wtf?

I think it is anytime you send people money...

They have to make money somehow...

No, because I dont get charged the fee, the person im sending money to eats that fee, its free for me.

In other words, if i sent you 100 bucks, i wouldnt have to pay 103, but you would only get 97. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Lets try again...

If I buy something in a store and they use a credit card. I as the buyer would only pay $100 the store would only get $97.

This is the way that the world works, **** it up and deal with it.

Boycott Pay Pal if you want, just use money orders or whatever. But, if you want to use PP then use their rules... Or don't whatever...
