Clearly you are talking about the cable 'not having a fuse' and when adding it, that it should be as close to the batt as possible. Now, anyone with any brain would know if you knew about needing the fuse at the other end, you would have mentioned it too. Or are you in the habit of giving half-assed, and possibly dangerous, replies simply because you dont want to assume or ask?

Since you seemingly did not understand what I said (maybe I did not get detailed enough to prevent any possible misunderstanding) regarding the cable quotle, I will brake it down for you. Not that it really matters one way or another, but you want to argue about it so I will go along...it's kinda fun anyways.

I looks like he did not fuse it properly because if he did there would have been a fuse at the battery end...there is none. If it is fused at the alternator end (it may be, I don't know) it is fused but not properly...hence the "and if you did you did not do it properly." Do I really need to explain myself like this this??? I could have gone into depth with my original statement but I saw no reason to, had I know some idiot was going to split hairs and nit pick me like this I would have.

And yes I do want to debate how long the alternator cable is...anyone that has been under the hood of one of those cars know they are not "short."

Seems to me if you actually knew what you were talking about, you'd explain the entire fusing process. I know I would. If we look at it my way, you are arrogant and ignorant.
