When the memphis gets here that red 4awg is going bye bye

that engine block to chassis wire is a bad location Im told. I have the same civic and did the same exact thing and was told that there is a ground under the air intake on the engine that you can use that is a better ground. I havnt done it yet but I will sooner or later, just thought you should know.

haha ok.. Everyone else? One person said there was a cheap terminal.
1 person said cheap terminal

1 person said bad ground location

1 person said insecure installation of wire in first pic

......and most recently 1 more person said sloppy work.

That covers everyone else that posted.

You pay about as much attention to your own thread as the work you do on your vehicle.

1. Bad ground location: That was a helpful tip i am taking into consideration

2. Insecure Installation: Its not

Sloppy work? Ok how is it sloppy. Do you know where you are? Caraudio.com full of assholes like yourself who say stupid shit.

Other forums i posted this on said great work and suggested a different ground spot for the engine block. I just did it there cause it was stock location.

Shitty equipment? Obviousely you dont know shit about Car audio.

So please shut the **** up with your ignorant bull shit

Now it's time to invest in a deep cycle battery. I just recently bought an orbital force factor battery which is similar to a optima yellow top and it starts my car quicker than ever, good batterys.

HA HA HA!!! You are getting mad at someone over the internet.

Anyways, anyone that puts any time and effort into their work would have installed those power and ground cables in such a way that they don't stand out like a sore thumb upon opening the hood.

The cable coming from the alternator should be routed and secured so that it wont move around and wear down the insullation and potentally shorting out. At the VERY LEAST some wire loom tubing should be covering it and zip tied shut so it does not come off. Not to mention the fact that it looks like you did not even FUSE that cable, and if you did you did not do it properly....the fuse should be as close as possible to the battery.

And then the battery terminals...those things are junk. Anyone that takes pride in their work would have used something better, not only for appearence purposes but also for performance and durability (corrosion resistance etc etc). You even used dirt cheap ring terminals and used no shrink tubing to insulate the portion of the cable that is exposed (between the factory insulation and the ring terminal/battery post).

I could go on forever.

All in all, you do shitty work.

X2!! could leave that there but also connect another ground from the alternator bracket to the strut tower using one of those nutz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
