Boston and MBQuart are and always have been my favorites and old school Kicker XS/SS/ZR amps... I would take any of them any day over anything made today....

but there is a pricepoint these days...

no one cares about anything butt watts per $ spent...

Maxxsonic has made a great business of filling that need for most of the customer base..

it is pure economics not brand favoritism...

because I prefer other brands, but not for the cost vs quality vs watt factor...

if I had unlimited money I wouldn't even have a D class amp in anything I own... they are all filthy but they are what is available because they are cheap to make ( regardless of brand they are all cheap compared to the worst quality old school AB class amps )

^^ Bahh no I have not. I will change that to hifonics = Fail. Nonetheless I would not run mb either as there is better to be had in its price range. Just my thoughts.

give me a list of amps better in the price range of the mbq amps and dont say aq caues they are not "better'i had the mbq dsc 2000 and the aq 2200 did not notice a difference in power and currently my hifonics brz 2400 is right up there with both of them and got that for 276 shipped brand new and dont say sundown cause they cost alot more
