hey guys i need help. today my amp stopped working. the amp was working perfectly fine this morning. i came home and and my car sat for an hour. i started it up and there was no music, so i looked at the amp and notice that the power light indicator was not on. i tried restarting my car and turning off and turning on my headunit. I check all the fuses and none of them are blown. I have been running this amp for almost 2 years with no problems. And i havent touched the amp or mess with my system since everything was installed. I am trying to figure out what could be wrong, before i take it to back to the shop i purchased it from. if anyone have any idea, please share. thanks

for sure the hood fuse is not blown. i have to double check the amp fuse. i wasnt able to see it clearly, but they didnt look blown. it is a Diamond Audio amp.

if your using agu fuses the big round tube fuses...they can blow and not look blown at all...i think they become unsoldered...check your voltage at the amp with a DMM
thanks. ill check test out the voltage.

Your amp's just trippin balls from all that dust it just hit.

J/K But the amp may be dead if theres no voltage readings at the amp's terminals, the best thing to do is take the amp out if you can and open the bottom and see if anything is burnt. If everything looks fine and you can't get it to work, then take it back to where you bought it from.

"bite the dust" is the term you're looking for, John (right?)
bust out your test light and do some detective work.
lol. yeah thats what i meant. so anyways, this morning i started up my car and turned on the headunit. the amp decided to turn on. so i was like great the amp is not fried. After worked i started the car and the amp stopped working. i went to the gym and worked out for an hour and the amp worked again. do you guys think it could be my ground? i did install some foglights couple weeks ago.
