Did my amp die?

I installed the following setup about 2 months ago; Profile AP1000 feeding Phoenix Gold RSD Components. Everything worked perfectly, then the other day while I was driving I heard the speakers cut out and then a loud pop coming from them and it didn't stop untill I turned off the HU. So I checked all my connections, HU, amp, ground, crossover. I restarted the car and the loud pop turned into an unbearable ear piercing squeal. I then unplugged the rca cables from the amp and it stopped. So I tried to find another solution, I unplugged the rca cables from the back of the HU and plugged them back into the amp. Same piercing squeal. So with just the rca cables plugged into the amp and not the hu i get this deafening squeal. Is my amp dead? Maybe my HU? Please help!

I tried switching rca cables and that didn't work. The amp is daisy chained so I going to mess with that tommorow and also try a new ground spot. If that doesn't work I might be in the market for a new amp. I paid $85 for the amp on millionbuy so its not a major loss, but I will be pissed if its dead and probably wont buy profile again.
