Did my amp blow?

Well I got 6 channel jl amp. I bridged my 5 and 6 channel for my sub. Well minimum bridged reccomends 4 ohm. But I ran it at 2ohm. It was playing fine for a couple days. Then I went back and turned the gain up just a little more to see if it could get any louder. then it just went into protect and never came out of it. All i heard out of my door speakers was just a popping noise. Is it blown?
