Did my amp blow?

It was working just fine today but when i got in my car tonight i noticed the light wasn't on on my gain knob. I was wondering what was wrong so i went and took a look. I noticed the ground wire was loose and so i put it back on and tightened it. Well it didn't help. The power light on my amp wont come on but the fan is still running. Its a ed nine.1 if anyone was wondering. I checked the fuses on my amp and up by my battery and they don't look melted. Does anyone know what could be the problem or did the amp malfunction?

Yea i took it out and then put it back in and i could hear the amp click on but it was just the fan clicking on. The power light didn't come on.

Yea i'm gonna do that tonight. I didn't have time last night cuz i had a basketball game but i'm gonna work on it tonight at practice. I don't know how my amp would have fried. It was fine one minute and the next it was just messed up.

if the ground was loose, after moving around in there for awhile, irt could have had conection, but been like 8ga instead of 4ga connected to it, which would burn it up

could've wired your subs wrong and put a bad load on your amp and fried it.. i've did it before when i did my first system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

naw my ground was 4 gauge and i checked my sub wiring with a dmm. I had 2 d4's wired down to 1 ohm. I think my amp is fried but i don't know how cuz it was fine one second and then all of a sudden it won't turn on, but the fan is turning on in it so wouldn't the fan not turn on if the power light won't come on? And i opened it up and nothing looks burnt. Need some help cuz i'm lost without beats.

my nine1 did the same exact thing.i just think its the amps quality.they fixed my amp but it happend again recently. every thing is hooked up fine then poof no amp. this never happened to any of my other amps.

so they replaced it under the warranty? Cuz that would be nice to hear so i don't have to spend cash i don't have yet to get it fixed.

And also i bought this amp about 3 weeks ago from a guy on this forum. He just purchased it this july so it is not that old. I know they come with 3 year warrantys. He printed out the sheet from his proof of purchase for me and sent that to me. It gives his order number and information. Is that enough for the proof of purchase or is there something he has to transfer saying he sold the amp to me? Because i heard these warrantys were transferrable.

they fixed it under warranty. i just called ed before i sent it and told them what happened.it took 2weeks to get the amp back from when i sent it. if i were you i would call and make sure you have all the right info to send them cause if you dont it could void warranty

Alright. Yea i contacted the guy that i bought it from and asked him if he could call ed and make sure that the warranty was transferrable. And i'm gonna call ed tomorrow because they aren't open on the weekends. I really hope they fix this cuz i have no clue what happened and that would **** to be out that money for nothing.
