Did I tear a spider

Well I won't have time to check it out until saturday but I was playing my sub last night and something sounded funky so I put my ear to the dustcap it sounded like bottoming out almost but theres just now way I'm bottoming out the btl n2 on 1200rms with a well tuned box. So I pushed down on the cone and it made a noise, not scratching like coil rub I know what that feels like but almost like the noise spiders make when you push them down and they rub together.

I'm thinking I broke a spider, as this sub is 12 months old and Fi are nitorious for having crappy spiders. Can anyone confirm? Sub still plays fine and coils are still good so it seems and its not rubbing so I'm willing to bet I broke a spider D:

I doubt you broke a spider on 1200w, but it might be possible that you fucked up a glue joint some how (though, again, I also doubt you did that off 1200w lol).

Before making any assumptions I would pull the sub outta the box, inspect it and then run it free air to see if the noise persists.

So I took it out pushed the cone up and down spiders looked good, tested coils they're like brand new played freeair and all seemed fine gave a push down on the sub and no scratchy... I'm so ******* confused guys

Bugs were so bad I couldnt really do thorough testing but upon further inspection it looked like glue on one of the tinsels came ondone and maybe the tinsel is moving freely inside the spider now. I'll inspect it in a bit.
