So I just got my new Rockford Fosgate T2500-1BDCP amp in today, and the birthsheet on this thing is insane! Best one I've EVER seen I think. THD is SUPER low and RMS ratings and power curve is unreal.

JUST arrived today. Unfortunatly I wont be able to put it in until next tuesday at the earliest. Knukonceptz screwed up processing my order and took 2 weeks to ship out my power distribution hardware. But as a "sorry" they refunded the $22 shipping costs. But as I'm in Canada it still takes about a week to arrive. But I'll be running mine on way less than full power to begin with. Only have 2 SA-8v2 subs at the moment and a near-stock electrical system. But I'm sure it will still put my Audison LrX 5.1k to shame regardless haha.

I know, I couldn't believe it when I looked at it. I've seen ones with SLIGHTLY better 2ohm power, and very close to the same 1ohm power. But never seen one that rated at just a hair under 2200 RMS @4ohms. Nevermind one that the power curve didn't drop below 3000W. And I dunno if the THD+N is a typo, but the lowest one I've ever seen posted online was like 0.22% THD and this thing is at 0.086% at full power. Just unbelievable. I feel like I won the amplifier lottery or something haha.

Really? Most of the ones I've seen were usually around 3200-3300W @1ohm. Seen alot of 2ohm ratings at around 2900w though. Never quite this high though lol. And NEVER seen somone post one with even close to the 4ohm power of this one. Just un-real lol

On a BDCP? Nah bro they are atleast 3300+ at 1 ohm. You're thinking of a BD, every BDCP is under rated by 1000w or so.

No dig against any one brand as thats the way all brands are it seems...?

Yeah I don't know either. But this thing seems like it's got an extra Y chromosome cuz seriously this thing is BEASTLY haha.

But really just cuz it uses all the same parts doesn't mean their all perfect. You might have a few weaker caps in one amp than another, or any other part in the amp for that matter. Theres hundreds or thousands of parts that go into these amps. Some parts are bound to have a little varience.

In my case it looks like I got lucky and got the cherry picked beast from the east

Little less resistance in the cap, fet allows power to flow a lol easier, and I mean microscopic differences here.. But it makes a difference regardless.

Although I wont be using the full potential of this amp anytime soon. It's still nice to know I have it and I could throw pretty much ANY subs on this thing to use as a daily ground pounder and pretty much never run out of power. I'm never gonna be one those guys that runs 6 18's in his burban on 18kW RMS Unless I somehow win the lottery that will never happen haha.
