Did I just get owned

no comments, what about painting the amp with some high heat paint to make it look new, maybe a flat black and then trim out the logo, that would look sweet

I personaly wouldnt pay for the for 1 main reason he states that the amp has had HEAVY USE second the condition and price I mean I would of bought it for a cheaper price but those 2500ds are not going for that much more I just sold mine in almost new condtion for not much more then you are paying.

Wasn't that someone's FS listing on here?

I remember seeing someone selling a "lightly used" 2500D with that same gouge in it...

If the amp is functionally perfect and you want it to look good again, I would try to buff out the worst of the scratches, may have to use a pretty good abrasive...and get it powdercoated. Might help to make it look better.

ebay is a great venue as long as you don't get caught up in the bidding and pay more than you want or even worse pay more than it's worth. Both of which I ve been guilty of in the past. Contact the seller and see if he'll let you off the hook. He can always offer a "second chance" to the next highest bidder, maybe offer to pay him the difference.

i have noticed him selling before, its always been used gear, stuff i have seen on the forums too, so i am guessing he is buying discreetly on the forums and reselling on ebay.

as for repainting, i wouldn't. I would rather try to buff it out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif it'll buff out, haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lol ya, lets just hope it works fine like he says, is there anyway to tell if its working to its full potential, or if its just working then it is. Anyways, if I need another one, do you have any 2500d HCCAfan

yea that same guy is always selling way way to abused stuff. with gouges in it and dents and heavy abuse missing the plugs. I would of taken my chances and got a refurb from Ikesound for cheaper and atleast have some sorta warenty... dunno if they would of honored the warrenty or not lol.
