did i get right amp for 2 10in kick comps?

i was wondering if a blackmore bac-m50 2000 wattt amp is a right choice for my 2 10in kicker comps, help me out?

Depends on how your gonna be wiring the subs, but technically it should be fine, id run it at 2 ohm personally.

It'll do the job. Looks like it might, and I say might, get 500 watts @ 4 ohm. Your Kickers only need 125 a piece. I had a pair in the wife's minivan of the 10's. I had them on a 760 watt Pioneer 2 channel that gave them 125 a piece. Perfect. Thought they sounded good. I've since moved on from the Kickers but I'll always have a soft spot for them.

I would do without before I wasted a perfectly good $ on that amp. What is your budget?..are you looking for as cheap as you can buy? what subs are they? SVC?, DVC?, 4ohm?, 2ohm???

I'm gonna guess they're single 4. All Kicker Comps are single coil. They do however come in 2, 4 or 8 ohm. He doesn't need a whole lot to push the Kickers. Although I would agree. It is a POS. It kind of sounds like he already bought it though....

I try not to bash ppls stuff, but I do not trust anything I cannot readily find a manual for online that describes in detail what to expect from the amp. A cheap alternative may or may not be better, but I would do a $100 APSM and a solid pair of $60 Power Bass 12's ...or this:

wow..that is very expensive for that kind of amp....most i see like that are half that price. You can use it, but i cannot begin to estimate how much unclipped power it will actually produce, or if it is anything other than 4 ohm stable.
