DID I GET A FAKE!?!?

So I recently Ordered a Sundown Audio SA-10 Rev3 D4 750w RMS sub and SFB-1000 mono amp and anxiously waited for their arrival.... WELL THEY'RE HERE, but instead of the usual euphoric “Butterflies in the stomach“ feeling, but instead was overwhelmed with a feeling that I had been scammed somehow!?!? The first thing that Made me feel rather uneasy was when I asked if I could just come pickup my order at the storefront since I live close enough to the shop it’s counterproductive to ship it, not only so I wouldn’t have had to wait but to save them the postage & to make sure I had correct items before I accepted them!? Then they showed up in the SA-10 v2 1000W RMS box which no big deal it’s only packaging but when I opened it the spec sheet on the inside said that it was a SA-10 600W RMS, and the inner box said SA-10 Rev3 D4 750W RMS, SO I FIGURED “JUST FIND MODEL MARKED ON BOTTOM, RIGHT!?” WRONG!!!! After pulling sub out to find the bottom COMPLETELY BLANK, I scoured the rest of the sub for any Model # AND FOUND NOTHING but “Sundown Audio” in dust cap and outer rubber ring around motor!!! So I would really like to know if anybody could please tell me if this is a legit server or what and if possible you could show me pictures that would really help as I wanted the SA-10 CLASSIC but was told this was EXACTLY THE SAME THING BUT THE MOTORs a different color, And since the motor will be inside the box anyways I figured that it wouldn’t make a difference..... IVE JUST NEVER SEEN A PRODUCT WITH SO LITTLE BRANDING OR ANY VERIFIED AUTHENTICATION !?!?

Did you call Sundown and ask them? They're not Skar. They're not in the FU business. Good people, get with them.

I’m sure you got what you ordered and maybe they just are packaging them in different boxes? I think this happened to another member recently where the motor is now a different color. Call Sundown. They are top notch and wouldn’t try to pull one over. Who did you order from?

The Classic is a Rev 3 but upgraded with a bolted motor and is black on the bottom. The V2 is a new model altogether.
Maybe they were out of the older model/Classic and gave you the newest model.

The Classic is a Rev 3 but upgraded with a bolted motor and is black on the bottom. The V2 is a new model altogether.
Maybe they were out of the older model/Classic and gave you the newest model.

This is the correct answer. This isn't the first time someone's been confused by this on the forum in the last few months. They are exactly equivalent down to every spec, they just look different. I think it's kinda messed up that they mix and match them as they send them out. The other guy got one of each which would look completely stupid if he mounted them reversed, but in your case so long as you don't think they're ugly there's no loss or gain.

Wiping the Dust off the Boxes and sending them on out
