Did I fry my amp IV: The Epilogue

A few final questions and then I am giving up:

1.) The subs were wired in the box to run at 1 ohm, which means that wires were only running to one set of terminals on the sub box. If the installer switched the wires running from the box to the amp (i.e. switched the + and -), could that cause the amp to blow or simply not work?

2.) If I post pictures of the internals of the amp, which look perfectly fine to me, can somebody out there determine what happened to it?

Thanks for all your input.

No, switching + and - on the sub wires simply switches phase, and is harmless. A lot of people run this way to adjust the sound.

Post up high quality pictures and we might be able to spot a burned component.
