Did a 138.0 today with single 12"

You will never get a really impessive score if you 1. don't own a meter

2. don't plan to build and test a few boxes

3. are willing to sacrifice some low extension and tune high.

The more impotant question is do you like the way it sounds? If you listen to it and it puts a smile on your face you did it right.
This. If you wanna make your setup meter friendly, at least see if you can rent a meter or something and play around with different port setups. I.e. have it be a removable port for your daily and then have another port with more port area tuned around the mid 40's or so (will depend on your vehicle). Not 100% ideal as the box volume may want to be adjusted but it will get you a better score than what you're doing right now.

After seeing a 1986 honda civic pount out a 151.x with a couple of twelves and a big port at slamology, I would suggest what he did.

the twelves are off to the sides of the box and in the middle he had a 10" port about 15" long. Oh, and that pic was taken by me about 3 minutes before this won loudest trunk vehicle in the world at Slamology.

Anyone got a design for some removable ports and I'm debating on even going around messing with this 12" I'd rather just sell it My zcons will be here shortly

Was that title just for the Slamology event? I have seen a vid of a 8th gen civic doing 155s out of the trunk on music. And I thought I heard there was someone doing 157s out of the trunk as well that was the worlds loudest trunk.

if i was to do a box like that wouldn't there be a different affect since its not in my trunk its on the back seats of my hatch back?

That's what I'm looking at doing. I'll only be able to get like 1.5 ish cubic feet per sub I was told to try a bandpass but I don't even know how to fit that or design it. But imthinking subs facing hatch. Port facing hatch. But I will be trying sub facing forward port forward on my rear seats folded down just to try it

Hmmm I could do something along those lines actually. Have the port slightly angled to run parallel with the hatch
