I like the sound of the D3. The D6 sounds weird to me. I've heard it in 3 different cars and everytime they sounded so so to me. My hair feels weird like its standing up with the D6s, but the sound is just not full to me. I listened to 2 12s in a tiburon with a huge JBL amp and a ported box. and 2 12s with an insignia amp with ported box in a 4 dr integra. They both didn't sound good to me. And then 2 12s in a huge probox in an accord. Whats the deal.

sounds like the boxes weren't built right for the D6's. i like the d6 subs.

The cone of the D9 cost more than the whole D3 D6 sub. They knock, my buddie has 1 D9 15 in an expodition on a D3 1200.1 and it hurts.

yep. those are it, and they are good subs.

these weren't small boxes. they took up like 80% of the trunk. They just don't sound loud. I dont understand why

never heard the d6 they're supposed to be great sq subs in sealed enclosures. I have a d9 which has awesome sq and can get plenty loud comparable to and IDMAX and W7
