The D6 subs can take around 1000w RMS daily, so don't worry about overpowering them. Most Diamond products are very well built.

I can't imagine what a D6 is like on 1000W. I just installed my 12" with a 1.0ft3 sealed box with 600W RMS and it slams. I'm extremely impressed with its output and SQ. Far more than I expected.

well at the time i wanted the d9 and i got one for my truck. now i decided to put another system in my tahoe and thought i try the d6's with a ported audio enhancer box.

I had 2 15" D6 off a D61500.1 sealed. It was pretty ****ing loud, sounds fantastic. The only other drivers I've heard that sounds better was the 15AE and the W6V2.
