I would buy as a minimum an eD 9.1 ,but a D61500.1 would be more powerful

which is what I used to run on my 2 D6s.....

D6 is a ****in sexy looking/sounding SQL sub man. It looks like a lexus would look if it was a sub, and I have never heard such realistic sounding kick drum hits.

I ran it in a sealed setup off 1000wrms with gains down real low. Sounded sick for rock music. Not super loud with how I had it set but I heard that if you want it for loudness go with a ported box. Sealed had sick SQ though.

D5's are older Diamond Amps their new ones are D6's but I like the look of D5's better and supposedly they were designed really well too.

The D5 amp will be very nice. The D6 subs can take around 1000w RMS daily, so don't worry about overpowering them. Most Diamond products are very well built.
