Diamond D9 12" Vs a rockford fosgate 15" T2

i have a Rockford fosgate 15" T2 my cuz has a Diamond D9 12" me and him have a bet i say 50 bucks that the T2 will have a bigger db thin the diamond D9. what do you all think. i just want to know if im going to get bettin b4 he gets her in the next hr lol. thnx

Two words: install dependent. LOL that probably doesn't help you much tho. You have the T2 in the Rockford powerful enclosure? its on their support page...

Are you really running the equipment shown in your posting signature?

But to respond to the asked question....assuming both subs are in appropriate installs on adequate power I would have to say the 15" T2 will likely outperform the D9 12" on the SPL side of things but that D9 will be more accurate 7 days a week IMO.

D9s sound great,get pretty loud but far from an SPL type woofer so who gives a chit......
