Diamond D6 Subwoofers

Finally got an upgrade. After debating whether I should get IDQ, IDV.3, or Rsd, I somehow went with Diamond. No regrets. They sound great. I had a ported box to JL specs for 2 12w3v2's before this with 840 watts, and these D6's beat them easily! The output from my W3's sealed do not even compare to the D6's, right now the output is nearly equal to the ported box I had. Sound quality is awesome, they are hitting everything accurately from rap bass to the lil kick drums of rock. Right now I am only pushing them with 840 watts, but I will soon upgrade to a 1200-1400 watt one. nope, get the amp, since ur happy, if it aint broken or wrong dont touch it.

amp suggestions would be given depended on how ur wiring ur subs? d4 im guessing. Have 2 of them so 4 or 1 ohm load if its dual 4's and .5, 2, 8 if it d2's.

Im gonna guess u have it at either a 1 or 2 ohm load so here couple suggestions

jbl gto1201.1II 1114 x 1 at 2 ohms is pretty good for 370 bucks and it good quality.

alpine mrd m1005 1000 x 1 @ 2 ohms is also pretty good for 400$

here couple 1 ohm suggestions

orion 1200d 1200 x 1 @ 1 for $470

memphis prd1000.1 is 1000 x 1 @ 1

And here couple 1000 and 12000 amps that are adjustable 1-4

i want a bigger amp as i know im not using these to their full potential. anyone know whats a good range for watts to put into two of these? also.. whats the recommended sealed enclosure for 2 12s? diamond only has vented on their site.

I've heard 700-800 per sub is a pretty good range, Might wait for a few others to chime in though.

yea i had d6 tens and they did well off 400 watts each
