For an entry-level SQ sub they sound pretty freggin' good to me.
Rate them against what, though? They're not designed to be an SPL sub, that's for certain. On the flipside of that coin, however, they will get decently loud in a proper enclosure.
It really depends on what you're wanting it to do for you.
