Diamond Audio what happened?

I remember back around 2001-2003 they were very highly sought after stuff but it seems like they fell of the face of the earth. I remember they used to have the lifetime warranty if installed by authorized dealer and all that. I still have 6 of the MacDaddy 10's in my garage I sold 2 on here a while back but besides ocassional TDX up for sale you never see tham anymore. I know they are still in business just never hear about them.

My dealer down where i live LOVES diamond, just no one buys it because its too expensive they say, diamond is a very solid product.

They are making a comeback, this is been a better year for them. They had some poor management in the past.

I met a guy that worked for them once and he told me that they like everyone got bought out and went to cheaper ways of manufacturing and building, he said everyone was laid off and they just kept renaming the products every year there after.

everyone used to snatch em up from the local magnolia hifi but they stopped doing car audio, they used to be buy one get one half off i believe. i liked my d3

Yeah i had two d3 15's.

it was pretty **** wicked, Close or comparable to Treo TSX imo.

you should see the mac daddy 10's even though they are only like 5.5 deep they are about 35 lbs a piece or more and beautiful subs.

Very good it was the premeir line before the tdx, it was sq based but got very loud I am thinking about selling 2 more soon but I dunno. It had the honeycomb like the d9 but an aluminum dustcap here is a picture.
