Diamond Audio Spec'd boxes

Anyone run the recommended box by Diamond? I would like to hear some reviews/gripes, etc. Im looking to have a box built, but dont want to waste my money if people are unhappy with it. Diamond rec's 1.25@40hz. What would be the difference between that and my box now? My box now is 1.75@48hz (25 sq. in of port area). Also if your interested in building me a box, PM me a quote to 93030.

thats why im looking for ideas. I dont have any experience listening to other peoples (proper) setups , so my opinion of my setup is all i have to go with.

I have been thinking about this for a while, just havent had the cash to do it. Would 32-35hz be good for a daily car? I listen to rap and metal (complete opposites) and want it to get down low and still sound good with rock etc.

mines in the 1.25 box tuned to 35 hz

everything above 42 hz blends in with my mids

from 42 to 35 it climbs up exponentially to 35 hz, and decreases exponentially untill 30 hz, and goes into the negatives rapidly

its good for SQ, and the lower it goes, the louder it gets (untill 30 hz), but thats with my single 10...

the box needs to be designed to the woofer...it needs alot of port area, and the only way to tune to 35 was using 2.5" ports that were 16" long each... (in a 1.25 cu ft enclosure)
