diamond audio or eclipse

sup guys i know it's been a while....just wondering wat u do u guys think, diamond audio d3's or eclipse sw6210 12 inchers of course feeding them about 450 watts apiece in a 3 cu ft ported box or do u guys think there will be any noticeable difference at all?

Diamond!! They are very well built and cone is super stiff for them lows!!

Every penny is worth it. The magnet on it are as big as the JL w6

Definitely a difference. Eclipse has a heavier cone, will reproduce lower bass. D3 has more spl.

i already have the d3's and i was wondering if the eclipses would yield more output with the same wattage, i was just throwing some ideas around in my head.

Actually right now im feeding them about 320 apiece, i guess i'll go ahead and drop them down to 1 ohm load and give them 450 apiece. I was being cautious about doing this cause i didnt want to blow them, but i've heard they can handle more than wat they're rated at as long as it's clean power.

I like the D6's. I like them more than type-r's, but they are similar in sound to say the least.

D6's are pretty nice, they have a nice 3" coil on them.

r you working with a budget right now?

I would go with the diamond over the eclipse because i dont trust the aluminum cones lool

but i would try a couple T3 T-400's they look pretty nice

t3 t400's u say? are those diamond's? And no i really don't have a budget as far as as subwoofers.....as long as they're not ridiculously priced-lol

im thinking that now im wanting more spl over sq, which my current setup tends to lean toward. What do u guys think about switching over to two kicker L5's or should i just feed the d3's more power on a seperate amp. Right now im running a RF power 1000 25 to life series on everything but soon plan on running a seperate monoblock on my subs and 4ch on mids and highs

nonononononono, bad idea, L5's just sound muddy and don't even get that loud. They're just a horrible driver. I say stick with the D3's or get some D6's.
