Diamond Audio D61500.1

Sup People!

Was helping my partner search for an amp i seen a post where someone mentioned a D61500.1. I like what i seen (the guy said his put out about 1900 watts at 1 ohm) so i went to diamond's website and checked it out. I then found out that it had a lifetime waranty if it were installed by a authorized installer/dealer (there is one in a neaby town). So far everything is sounding good. Anyone have any experience with one? Pros and cons please? Also what is the price on this amps?

Is there better amps in the same power and price category?

It will be powering a 15" XXX.

I will be using the same amp/sub combo. Great amp. I got it really cheap (I work for the diamond dealer), so Idk what you're paying...

I dont know what this amp actually puts out but I was thinking about getting one of these and getting rid of my d51200.1 amps....

is 430 the regular price or is that with an employee discount

It would if it was INSTALLED by an authorized dealer, according to his first post.

Im not sure either way, just posted an answer to his question.

i am not sure if you would have to purchase it from an authorized dealer also, and if you did go with an authorized dealer the price my be a bit higher

Yay,the price almost doubles going autherized -

my 1500.1 works well,loads of power

Keep in mind these amps run hot,very hot,I hooked up a cooling fan

Thats the single thing I wish it had,its own fans

da said not to worry,and after a 5 hour trip it was hot as a fryingpan but never went into protect

amps can have no fans and run cold to the touch...

First, i love your sig rofl.

Secondly, thats a nice amp and it will do more than its rated, id say about 1600w. But if you have that kind of budget why not try a USAmps Merlin MD2 that will go right up its alley, the MD2 its rated at 1521w at 1ohm @ .1%THD, try this amp and measure what it puts out, you will be left with your mouth open, ill just tell you that.
