Diamond Audio D6 or JL Audio 10w3's?

had 2 10wv2's in my truck but then sold them, and now i just recently bought 2 diamond audio d6's from kotec123. i like the w3's but wanted more bass and clarity. did i make any upgrade by buying the d6's? just wanted to get some info on what people thought.

D6 are more comparable to a W6

They are great subs man, a friend of mine had M6 in a snailshell box with an orion 1200d, and it was great hit lows well,sounded great and got loud!

mine are going in my dodge quad cab in a probox enlosure under the rear seat. should be nice. will be running a jbl bp 1200.1. kinda similar to your friends

They don't require huge enclosures but they don't particularly like small boxes either.

those subs will work well with 600-700w each.

if you bought 2Dual4 subs you need an amp that does 1200+w@1ohm

if you bought 2Dual2 subs you need an amp that does 1200+w@2ohm

So,your amps final load determains if its the right amp for you...

JBL makes a nice amp,but the models and ratings are different depending on what model year you own
