diamond audio d6 1200.1 on 2 jl 12 w7's?????

What's going on peps? I have a quick question. I was thinking about doing 2 jl audio 13 w6v2d4's and a diamond audio d6 1200.1 but found 2 12 w7's new for $439 each and was thinking about running the same amp the d6 1200.1. However I read on jl's website that they can handle 1000watts rms and wiring them in parelel would result in a 1.5 ohmn load since each woofer is 3 ohms. Also the diamond audio is rated at 800 watts rms at 2 ohms and 1200 watts rms at 1 ohmn so I'm thinking I would be giving 1000 watts rms to the subs and this is way underpower. Is this a good idea? Would it sound good? Any advice would be apprciated.

Yea that's kind of what I was thinking too after I posted the thread.thanks though.
No problem... I know DD amps have some nice power you could look into... It really depends on your budget.. 2 JL 1000/1 would do the job nicely =P.

if you get 1200.1 it will be good for one W7. Get a diamond audio D5 or D6 1500.1 and you will be fine with that set up. Diamond audio amps are underrated so you will be ok.

Why dont you get a 1200.1 and a 12" TDX thats a great set up SQ and nice bump. There are some people here selling both.
