diamond audio d5 series, any one ever had probnlems

i'll be getting a diamond d5 300.2 amp in a few days, and i was wondering if anyone had any problems with this amp, i read that some of the d5's had overheating problems, and wanted to know if i was going to run into that or somthing else, thanks.

overheating problem? not for me. It lives under a seat with no fan. Summers get pretty warm easily 100+ so 140+ in my vehicle (arizona). i've never had my d5300.2 turn off.

Just a few days ago one channel cut out. I thought it was a loose speaker wire, it wasn't. Wasn't the signal to the amp either. I took the amp apart; no loose joints. When i put it back together it worked. It only did it that once. :shrug:

thats good to hear, wierd how a channel cut out and then came back though
