Diagnosing Alt Whine?

Okay, previously when running only my Viper d1200.1 amp I had no problems, however when I added my Nine.2 into the mix, I also unhooked all of my speaker wires from the HU to run front kickpanel comps and I may have loosened my HU ground or something.

What's an easy way for me to diagnose if I have alt whine?

There's a high pitched whine that goes up with my RPMS.

Could I just unplug the viper? Unplug the nine.2? Do I have to take apart my dash again?

You need to find out exactly where it is coming from by unhooking the nine.2 rca's to see if the problem still exists and then go on from there. Keep the large power wires away from the rca inputs on the nine.2 this caused a whine with my amp that took forever to figure out. Also you might need to reground the nine.2 or both amps.
