Di JBL 600.1 amps get hot?

i was wondering cuz im gonna try and get a hold of one. i want to know if they get hot, if they have good sound, and if they are long lasting amps. thanks

they dont run too hot, and for a sub amp they sound fine, the subs will make a biggetr SQ difference than the amp, in this case at least

They don't get that how as long as you don't run the impedence to low. They are pretty reliable and hard to beat for the money. I played around with one I put in a guys car for a few minutes. Ran it at 1/4 ohm for about 5 minutes before it shut down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Thing was hot as h@ll but after I rewired the subs to a 1ohm load worked like a charm.
