Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal thoughts

When i was younger 14-15 i was always in and out of jail. Group of guys were threatening of killing me after i fukked someone up in the neighborhood.
My mom found out and like a mother sent me out to live with my aunt. My aunt wouldnt let me out and treated me like i was a jail bird.

I would get high everyday and one day on my way home from school with my cousins i over dosed on X and cocaine.

It was one of those days i just said fukk it because i was tired of how everything was.

Up until now i own a gun and recently drank way to much and my wife and i went thru things to the point that i went outside walking drunk almost blacking out and i dropped the gun hard to the ground and it went off and caught my shirt. My wife heard the shot and came looking for me thinking i might have shot myself.

This isnt considered trying to commit suicide, but its depression that led me towards this.

I understand how you feel.

You sad your wife is the bread winner so i wouldn't say you deal with much.

She's the one with a 7-5 min-from job.. I got the hustler side of things covered.its our money together we married.i contribute plenty to our bills, but Believe me she didn't pay for my system lol that's all me. Just bought two more 350alts and about to buy quad alt bracket here soon.

Also, I wanted to add that suicide is a very selfish thing.
My cousin's husband shot himself two years ago. He left her with a 5 year old and an infant to take care of. She was going back to college at the time to get another degree, and didn't end up finishing it because she had to pick up more hours at work to support her children. Now her kids are going to grow up without a father because he was a little bitch and couldn't handle the stress of life.

Can you imagine how the people who loved him felt? I personally never liked the guy, and think it was a really shitty thing for him to do.

Think about others and don't put yourself first because you feel sad and can't buck up.

Word, this is exactly what my dad told me. He deals with depression and anxiety and said that he cares enough about me, my mom, and my sisters not to take his life. My grandma told him that suicide is the most selfish thing you can do. I fee that there's always something to live for, you just need to dig deep enough to find it sometimes.

I stay at home with our 1yr old son. I will never put him in day care, I keep busy selling car audio on Craigslist and rims and tires on Craigslist, I don't need a job and will never get one again. Once the house is paid off in about 10years my wife will quit working and we will be living the good life

I want to get married and have kids. Unlike most people, I actually like commitment and I'd like to be with one person for the rest of my life. That may sound weird to all of you, but that's the truth.

Until you walk in someone's shoes who has contemplated or attempted suicide those who judge will never know what it's like. It's a very selfish thing, a permanent solution to a temporary problem. But, for any of us to judge them, that seems very judgemental. Therapy and medications may help them but not everyone. There is always something to live for, some people just can't see that through the fog of their own emotions. It's a terrible terrible thing

Sometimes depression becomes like a drug, it over takes all your thoughts and becomes the easiest fix.

One feeling many have maybe felt is when you are in a fight and you get angry enough to continue you usually dont want to stop to you feel relieved.
