Alright so heres the deal; I'm leaving Fargo tonight at 5 pm to head to Denver for the hockey game against Minnesota on Saturday night. I was wondering if there are a lot of bars within walking distance to the pepsi center so I don't have to drive after drinking. Also, any cheap motels within walking distance too that are cheap (motel 6, or 8)?

the motels around the pepsi center aren't that cheap unless you head up colfax and stay in a real dump. as far as bars go, there are tons. Lo-Do is the spot. lots of bars. lots of ladies. if you aren't an Av's fan, i would avoid wearing your minnesota wild jersey downtown. just a friendly warning.

I'm at the Residence Inn Marriott Downtown. It was resonable at $130 for a suite for 4 people. We will def be wearing our Wild jerseys to the game and on the walk back to the hotel. We are just going to drink before and at the game tonight because we have to leave at 5am.
