First of all, let me say hi to everyone! I hope to learn about car audio by reading past posts and from other forum members.

This first post is about this new car to me with iPod/iPhone adapter problem. Just bought this '06 BMW coupe with oem nav and Harman Kardon stereo system. The previous owner installed a Dension Gateway 100 iPod/iPhone adapter which is nice, however every time I unplug my iPhone then switch to radio or CD, the volume is way too loud. The adapter is connected to the amp wiring in the trunk. My question is....what can I do to level off the volume between all sources and what to alter with the present hook up to achieve my objective. I already adjusted the as much as it will go, but to no avail.

Has anyone ran into this issue in the past?

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!?

Set the voltage to 20 volts via DMM and it will equal out to around 100 watts. https://www.the12volt.com/ohm/ohms-law-calculators.asp#voltage
