Alright I own a 2001 Dodge Intrepid ES Motorsports Edition with the Infinity premium sound system package with a 4 disc cd changer. Heres my problem, recently I got into a car accident, guy ran a stop sign smashed into my passenger side anyways. I recently have gotten the car back from the shop and my head unit is starting to act extremely weird. It seems that it will be fine for about 30-40 minutes then it will almost create a "delay" I guess you could say, for example. I could turn the volume knob for a solid 2 minutes without any volume increase, but then get a volume increase a few seconds or minute later, this also happens with changing radio stations, going from FM-AM-CD, changing CDs, changing songs on CDs, it also affects the head unit controls on my steering wheel. I have noticed that the radio is affected when it is hot out or if it has been on for some time. So my question is what exactly is my problem? And how can I go about fixing it?
