so..... im looking for a good priced battery that would help power up to around 3000 watts. I have big 3 done and a 160 amp alt. Will upgrade alt when I can. Looking to buy 1 or 2 of theses batts. Are they any good? Or other reccomendations on batts?

If i full tilt my ab500.1 @ .5 ohm they mighttt touch 10.9....but thats stock alt and one run of 4ga wire

yup... but to pretty much rely completely on them with a 4 awg and stock alt... thats not that bad... imo

none the less, nice batteries.

I wouldnt mind picking up the cheaper ones for my next system. seems like more amperage for the $

not sure but heard they are very good.. esp if skip is running a 500.1 off of 2 pretty much by themselves... 4 awg doesn't carry much more than 120-140 amps iirc

ran my hk4000d at full tilt and never dropped below 13.9v
