dei viper d2500.1 question

i'm searching for a good sub amp around a clean 2000 watts.not for everyday listening(i don't think i can handle that anymore lol) but when i want it to hit i want the power to be there.any experiences with a dei viper d2500.1 out there?sound quality wise(clean bass),current draw,durability.i'm not a spl person i'm an old guy who back in the day loved my sounds, started a family and got away from car stereo.now i am looking to rekindle the love for car stereo.but the game done changed 10 times over and i am learning the new phases of today's game.i like loud bass but clean as well.please feel free to add in suggestions on different amps to help me achieve what i'm looking for as well.as always,your input is appreciated in advance.

the viper is a good cheap amp for plenty of power for daily. Its nothing to special but sound quality is really gonna come into play the way the box is made and make sure you dont max out your amps gain and bass boost and it should sound quite good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My Viper ran hot, good amps. Just dont push them...
